  • 1. Do you take insurance?
    Yes, we work with most insurance carriers on an "open network basis." As an open-access provider, we are not in-network, but can provide services/materials while utilizing your insurance benefits/coverage. Make sure to bring your insurance information, so we can quickly let you know your eligibility, benefit amount and the reimbursement process, which we’ll help you with. We also accept HSA and FSA payment.
  • 2. Is there an advantage to shopping at eleven @ Costa Mesa over my in-network providers?
    The main advantage is the selection of frames. In-network providers generally have a limited selection of frames they actually cover; most designer brands fall outside, and the co-pay doesn’t go very far. . At eleven @ Costa Mesa, you can use your insurance on anything you see in the store. Not only are our frames and lenses of the highest quality, they are competitively priced, so typically you won’t be spending more than at your in-network providers. . The main disadvantage is that payment is due at the time of service, while the reimbursement check takes about 3-4 weeks.
  • 3. How soon can I get my new glasses?
    We may be able to make your new glasses same day or in about an hour depending on your prescription and the frame you choose. Otherwise, our turnaround time for single vision lenses is typically 3-5 business days, whereas most progressive or digital freeform lens orders take about 2 weeks. If needed, we’re happy to check with our lab to see if your order can be expedited.
  • 4. Can I get new lenses for my existing frames?
    Yes. Our trained opticians will inspect your frames to ensure they are in good working condition to avoid any issues at the lab. . We’re also happy to help with any small repairs, or screw replacements.
  • 5. Can I get my eye exam at eleven @ Costa Mesa?
    Unfortunately, we don’t provide eye exams at the moment, so please bring your prescription.
  • 6. Is there a warranty? If so, what is covered?"
    Yes, both frames and lenses are covered for 1 year against all manufacturer defects. . Unfortunately, scratches and other such damages due to daily usage are not covered.
